We are excited to invite artists to apply for the inaugural Mildura Fringe Festival 2025, a vibrant celebration of creativity and performance in the heart of Mildura. This festival is designed to support artists and provide a platform for innovative and engaging performances that resonate with audiences of all ages. We invite artists with shows of 45mins - 60mins (longer or with interval on application) in the categories of Circus, Physical Theatre, Comedy, for Family Friendly or Adults Only Audiences.

Festival Highlights:

• Launch Party: Kick off the festival on October 30th with our Launch Party! This is a fantastic opportunity for artists to showcase 5-10 minute pop-up acts, allowing you to promote your full show while engaging with festival-goers.

• Location: Mildura is a bustling hotspot for tourists and families, providing a diverse audience with high foot traffic. Our festival venues are strategically located to maximize visibility and engagement.

Venues:

1. The Powerhouse:

   • Large Indoor venue with A Frame rigging optional

   • Capacity: Up to 200 people

   • Ideal for larger performances and theatrical productions.

   • Variable Stage and seating setup (Cabaret, Thrust, Round, Proscenium)
     

   2. Indoor Tent:

   • Smaller, intimate venue

   • Rigging available

   • Capacity: Less than 100 seats

   • Perfect for experimental works and close-up performances.
     

     
     

   3. Outdoor Stage:

   • Fully equipped outdoor stage with rigging (counterweight options)

   • Capacity: Up to 200 people outdoors

   • Great for lively family performances and community engagement.

• Scrims: Advertise your show on fence boundaries throughout the festival grounds.

• Posters: Display promotional materials in local cafes and community spaces.

• Local Radio Interviews: Gain exposure through interviews on local radio stations.

• Chorflute Signs: Utilize eye-catching signs to draw attention to your performance.

• Printed Fringe Guide: Your show will be featured in our printed guide, distributed in cafes and community centres.
